Marketing and I are buddies – we go way back. I have always had an interest and a love for words, ideas and images and how you can mix them up, turn them around this way and that and come up with something to offer and inspire others. Something to inspire yourself.
Marketing is generally thought of in a business realm. I have experienced and taken part in that and enjoyed it immensley. Marketing for me though is more than that; it is part of my everyday life. It is the notion of how to package an idea, a desire, a goal and convince others to jump on board for the ride. This can be as simple as what to do on a Friday night, how to sell your Blackberry on ebay for top dollar or as complex as affecting the emotions and actions of those around you with the words you choose and with how you present a situation.
I look forward to having a place to unravel all that tumbles around in my mind and to give light the ideas that just need a place to live. Come along for the ride.
